Section 7: Scanning Images

If you have non-copyrighted images you wish to scan directly into the software, you may do so. QuicKutz cannot guarantee the quality of results of images that are scanned. Please note that scanned images are often a poorer quality than original digital images.
HOW TO: Scan an Image Directly into the Silhouette Software
  1. Turn on your scanner and place your image into the scanner.
  2. If you have multiple scanners, you will need to go to the "Insert" menu and click on "Select Source". This will selects one of the TWAIN drivers for scanners enabled for your computer.
  3. Go to the "Insert" menu and click on "Acquire". This will launch the selected TWAIN device (or in other words, your scanner).
  4. After the image has been captured, you will be given a blue selection box. You may move this box to your desired location on your project and click to drop the image.
  5. You may then clip or outline your image as previously directed.
