Section 4: Cleaning and Storing the Cutting MatThe Silhouette's cutting mat is a consumable product and will lose its adhesive quality over time. However, we would suggest to clean it after each use, as needed, and to store it properly to avoid dust collection. This should retain the mat's adhesive quality for a longer period of time.While there are no cleaning agents we can suggest, you may use the QuicKutz Universal Scraper tool to scrape the mat's adhesive surface clean of any remaining paper flecks or other dust or lint. When finished, place the mat's center protective liner back onto the exposed adhesive surface for storage.
